Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has picked Brazilian star Vinicius Junior as his favourite to win the Ballon d'Or award.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with former Super Eagles midfielder, Mikel Obi, the 65-year-old praised all the Real Madrid stars for their brilliant campaign last season.
The Italian tactician however singled out Vinicius Junior for his remarkable performance in the UEFA Champions League.
“Vinicius Jr will win the Ballon d’Or, in my opinion. Carvajal also did really well, he won la Liga, Champions League and scored in the final, won the Euros,” the legendary manager told Obionepodcast.
“But Vinicius, a talented player, young, good image, won La Liga, won the Champions League scoring in the final and semifinal. He scored two in Munich!”.
“Jude had a fantastic season. Winning the Champions League, winning the league, and it
“Rodri also is a fantastic midfielder, one of the best midfielders in the competition, and consistent,” the former Chelsea and PSG boss concluded.
