Wantaway Napoli striker Victor Osimhen was conspicuously absent as new manager Antonio Conte took charge of his first game at the helm.

Osimhen's lack of involvement in the club's first preseason game has further fueled speculation surrounding his future at the Naples-based club.

Despite extending his deal with Napoli last December, the Nigerian striker is expected to leave the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium this summer.

According to Soccernetng, the 25-year-old missed the game due to fitness concerns.

Initially named in the squad list, Osimhen watched the game from the stands, having trained alone in the gym for the past two days.
