The maiden UEFA Champions League round of 16 play-offs are finally over following the conclusion of four ties on Wednesday, February 19.

Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, PSV Eindhoven, and Dortmund became the latest teams to book their place in the knockout phase.

Other clubs, including Bayern Munich, Club Brugge, Feyenoord, and Benfica, had already secured their place on Tuesday, February 18.

These eight teams joined the likes of Liverpool, Barcelona, Arsenal, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, Aston Villa, and Lille, who had already secured automatic qualification after finishing in the top 8 in the league format.

The stage is now set for the round of 16 draw scheduled to be held on Friday, February 21.

The eight teams who secured automatic qualification will be paired with the remaining eight teams who qualified through the play-offs.

The round of 16 fixtures will take place on March 4 and 5 for the first legs and the return matches on March 11 and 12.
