Transfer expert reveals Chelsea's top striker target this Summer

Chelsea have set their sights on Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran as their top target for the summer transfer window, according to transfer market expert Ben Jacobs.

The Blues are eager to bolster their attack ahead of next season and believe Duran has the potential to be a key player.

Despite being linked to Napoli's Victor Osimhen, Chelsea cooled off their interest due to his £120 million release clause, deeming it too steep.

They have also considered Athletico Madrid's Samu Omorodion, who impressed on loan at Deportivo Alaves last season.

However, Jacobs reveals that Chelsea are now focused on luring Duran away from Villa Park, although they are hesitant to meet the Villa's £40 million valuation.

"Chelsea are negotiating and hoping for a lower fee, around £25 million," Jacobs explained.

"While nothing is agreed yet, Chelsea are serious about signing Duran."
