Premier League club Newcastle United have reportedly joined the race to sign Nigeria's Victor Osimhen from Napoli.
PUNCH Sports Extra reports that the club's owners are ready to trigger Osimhen's release clause.
According to Lee Ryder of the Chronicle Live, the Magpies are among the clubs who will be offered the chance to sign the reigning African Footballer of the Year.
Currently on loan at Galatasaray, Victor Osimhen has been in fine form since joining the Turkish Super Lig champions in early September.
The 25-year-old has registered eight goals and four assists in nine appearances across all competitions for his new club.
He netted a brace in his last outing against Samsunspor in the Super Lig last weekend, helping Galatasaray open a six-point gap at the top of the league table.
Napoli Sporting Director Giovanni Manna has set a minimum price of €75 million for any potential suitor.
