Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray are reportedly considering a move for Nigerian international Bright Osayi-Samuel from Fenerbahce.
The 27-year-old is currently in the final months of his contract with José Mourinho's side.
Turkish football expert Zeki Uzundurukan reports that the full-back will consider a move to Galatasaray should his preferred move to England fall through this summer.
“Galatasaray is in the game for Osayi. This transfer could be like the Batshuayi move last year, because his contract is ending and the player wants a lot of money,” Uzundurukan said, as per Gsgazete.
The Fotomaç editor-in-chief added that Osayi-Samuel's representatives have made contact with the reigning Turkish champions.
“His agent is in contact with Galatasaray. He has clearly stated that they will consider Galatasaray if England doesn’t work,” he added.
Despite José Mourinho’s interest in retaining the Nigerian international, negotiations for a new deal have stalled since the start of the year.
Osayi-Samuel is reportedly seeking a significant increase in his current annual wage before agreeing to a new contract with the Canaries.
