Liverpool talisman Mohamed Salah has hinted at a possible departure from Anfield following Liverpool's victory over Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday, December 1.

The Reds dispatched the current title holders 2-0 at home to move nine points clear at the top of the Premier League.

Salah set up Cody Gakpo for Liverpool's first goal and scored the second from the spot in the second half.

Speaking in a post-match reaction, the Egyptian international disclosed that the game could be his last against Pep Guardiola's side at Anfield.

“Honestly, it’s in my head. Until now, this is the last City game I will play for Liverpool, so I was just going to enjoy it,” Salah told Sky Sports.

“The atmosphere was incredible, so I will enjoy every second here. Hopefully we just win the league and then we will see what happens.”

Salah's contract with Liverpool expires at the end of the season, and the player wants a new three-year deal.
