Nigerian international Victor Osimhen has defended Jose Mourinho's controversial social media post following Galatasaray's abandoned game against Adana Demirspor in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday, February 9.

The Fenerbahce boss took to social media to aim a dig at Galatasaray after the Super Lig leaders were awarded a controversial penalty, which resulted in the away side forfeiting the game at the half-hour mark.

Adana Demirspor players and officials walked off the pitch at Rams Park to register their displeasure with the dubious spot kick awarded to Galatasaray in the 11th minute of the game.

Reacting to the incident, Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho shared a video of the penalty incident alongside two images of himself, the first of which seems to suggest he was applauding the referee's decision.

Sharing his thoughts on Mourinho's antics, Osimhen described the Instagram post as normal.

“It’s normal. For me, I don’t really look at these things,” the 26-year-old stated.

The incident has raised questions about the standard of officiating in Turkish football, something which has consistently been criticized by Jose Mourinho.
