Abdullah Ercan, a former Fenerbahce defender, has stated that it is unfair for the rest of the Turkish clubs that Victor Osimhen and Mauro Icardi play on the same team.

Osimhen, 25, teamed up with the Argentine to add more firepower to Galatasaray's attack after his dream move to Chelsea hit a snag on transfer deadline day.

The Nigerian international joined the Super Lig champions on a season-long loan with no option or obligation to buy.

Osimhen and Icardi's partnership is gathering steam, as the duo has so far registered 8 goals and six assists between them.

Ercan, who played for both Fenerbahce and Galatasaray, believes it is not fair play for Osimhen and Icardi to play for the same team in Turkey.

“Mauro Icardi and Victor Osimhen in Galatasaray are an unfair competition for the Super Lig,” the 52-year-old told A SPOR as per Dailypost.
