Premier League title holders Manchester City are reportedly eyeing a move for Nigerian defender Ola Aina this January.

Aina has been in incredible form for Nottingham Forest under new manager Nuno Espírito Santo this season.

The Tricky Trees are currently third in the Premier League, only behind Liverpool and Arsenal after 20 matches.

Forest is the only side to have beaten Liverpool in the Premier League this season, following their 1-0 win at Anfield earlier in the season.

Aina's performance has caught the eye of Pep Guardiola's Man City side, who are reportedly considering a move for the 28-year-old.

According to Manchester Iconic, the Cityzens want to secure Aina's signature to replace Kyle Walker, who has suffered a dip in form this season.

The former Torino defender has just six months left on his contract with Forest, which makes a potential move to City a high probability.

Aina has featured in all 20 Premier League matches for Forest this season, scoring two goals in the process.
