Captain William Troost-Ekong returned to the lineup and will pair Semi Ajayi and Calvin Bassey in three back.

Nottingham Forest Ola Aina and Bruno Onyemaechi will play as wing backs.

Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi will operate in the central midfield area.

Bayer Leverkusen's Victor Boniface has been handed a starting role in attack ahead of Victor Osimhen and Taiwo Awoniyi.

The 23-year-old will be flanked by Atalanta's Ademola Lookman and Samuel Chukwueze .
