Nigeria eligible Manchester United star shines in friendly against Rangers, shows of Super Eagles tattoo

Manchester United secured their first preseason win, defeating Glasgow Rangers 2-0.

Amad Diallo and Joe Hugill scored the goals, getting Erik Ten Hag's side back on track after a loss in their opening game.

The match marked the debut of new signing Lenny Yoro, who joined from Lille.

However, youngster Maxi Oyedele stole the show, providing the assist for Hugill's goal.

The youngster of Nigerian descendant excelled in his 45 minutes, completing all tackles and ground duels, earning a 7.6 rating on Fotmob.

Speaking on his assist, the 19-year-old said: "I felt really good. I'm still a little frustrated with myself for being a bit naive after the assist. But I was just doing my job, finding Joe [Hugill] and it was a great finish."

Born in Salford to a Polish mother and Nigerian father, Oyedele has represented Poland at youth levels but remains eligible for all three countries at senior level.

After the game, he showcased his Nigerian roots, revealing a tattoo featuring the Super Eagles' symbol.
