Premier League outfit Aston Villa is reportedly eyeing a move for Nigeria's Samuel Chukwueze this January.

According to Italian publication Calciomercato.it, Villa has expressed keen interest in the Nigerian winger who joined Milan in the summer of 2023.

Chukwueze, 25, who joined the Rossoneri in a deal worth €28m, could be allowed to leave Milan after failing to impress the San Siro fans since his arrival.

Turkish outlet Fanatik reports that Super Lig sides Besiktas and Trabzonspor have also entered the fray for Chukwueze's signature.

It is not the first time Villa boss Unai Emery has tried to sign Chukwueze. The Spanish tactician is a huge admirer of the Super Eagles star, spanning back to their time at La Liga outfit Villarreal.

Unai Emery tried to sign Chukwueze during his time at Arsenal and also last summer before the Super Eagles winger eventually ended up in Milan.

Chukwueze scored 30 goals under Unai Emery during his two-year stay at Estadio de la Ceramica—a possible reunion could be on the cards.
