Napoli officially appoints Conte as new manager

Napoli has officially announced Antonio Conte as the club's new manager.

Conte has signed a three-year deal with the Naples-based club which will see him stay at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium until 2027.

Announcing the former Chelsea boss as the club's new manager, Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis expressed his excitement.

“I’m so proud that Antonio Conte is Napoli’s new coach," De Laurentiis noted.

"Antonio is a top coach and a leader, so I’m convinced that we will be able to rebuild the foundations in the way that we need to follow the conclusion of the cycle that led us to Scudetto glory last year after many years at the top of Italian football.”

Conte has managed top Serie A clubs like Atalanta, Juventus, and Inter Milan.

His last coaching job was with Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League. Conte left Spurs in March 2023 by mutual consent.
