Spanish La Liga outfit Leganes have expressed keen interest in signing wantaway Nigerian forward Cyriel Dessers.

Dessers have been a subject of transfer speculation following his reduced game minutes with Glasgow Rangers in recent matches.

The 30-year-old, who joined the Scottish giants from Cremonese in the summer of 2023, has managed just one league start for the Gers since December as coach Philippe Clement prefers to start Hamza Igamane international ahead of the Nigerian.

The Super Eagles striker who wants more game time has courted interest from clubs like Cagliari and Empoli in Serie A and Saint Etienne in the Ligue 1.

According to Matteo Moretto, Leganes have become the latest club to enter the race to sign Dessers from Rangers.

The La Liga outfit which has struggled to score goals believe Dessers' inclusion to their team will bring more firepower to their attack.

Dessers could be available for just €5m.
