Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface has shared his reaction after a young fan sold the boots he had gifted to him to a Rwandan player for $100.

Boniface gave the boots to the boy after Nigeria's 2-1 loss to Rwanda in their African Cup of Nations qualifier at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium.

In a viral video circulating on social media, the young fan revealed that he had to sell the boots due to financial difficulties.

Reacting to the video under a post by Brila FM, the 23-year-old humorously asked the fan to send him 10 percent of the earnings from the sale.

“Abeg, make una find this boy for me. Make he drop 10% of the money ooo,” he wrote in Pidgin English.

The clip gained traction online following Nigeria's remarkable 2-0 victory against Rwanda at the Amahoro National Stadium.

The Super Eagles will return to action against Zimbabwe in their next qualifier at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
