Nigerian international Chidera Ejuke is making waves in the Spanish La Liga with the latest stats ranking him ahead of some of the top stars in the Primera División.

According to ABC, the 25-year-old has emerged as the top dribbler in the Spanish topflight ahead of some top stars including Real Madrid's Vinicius Junior and Kylian Mbappe as well as Barcelona's wonderkid Lamine Yamal.

Apart from the game against Las Palmas, the eight-cap Super Eagles star has featured in every La Liga game since joining Sevilla from Royal Antwerp last summer.

Ejuke has successfully completed 17 dribbles in 265 minutes more than Lamine Yamal and Kylian Mbappe who have both managed 16 successful dribbles with more minutes - 443 and 439 respectively.

Vinicius Junior has also completed 13 successful dribbles with 487 gametime.

Ejuke is currently averaging a successful dribble every 15 minute in La Liga for the Rojiblancos.

Interestingly, despite his remarkable stats, Ejuke has struggled to make the cut in the Super Eagles call-up in recent years.

His last appearance for Nigeria came in 2022, when the Super Eagles beat Guinea-Bissau 2-0.
