Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has admitted that his side is lacking in some areas despite their 2-0 victory over Real Betis at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday, September 1.
Frenchman Kylian Mbappe scored both goals in the second, marking his first La Liga goals since joining Los Blancos.
The La Liga title holders moved to second place, behind rivals Barcelona.
Despite the victory, Ancelotti disclosed that the team lacks consistency.
Speaking in a post-match reaction, the 65-year-old said: “We need to be more consistent. We sometimes lose our position, and we can’t afford to give the ball away unnecessarily.
“The unit has always been and will always be the key to success, the last problem is scoring goals.”
