On his return to his root where the dream was birthed, Napoli's Victor Osimhen gave his old pals a treat by sharing the dusty community playground with them.

On his return to Nigeria during the off-season in 2021, the Super Eagles striker condescended to his humble beginnings when he used to play on the streets of Lagos.

The talisman donned his iconic number 9 Napoli shirt as the kickabout with his friends.

Osimhen's humbling gesture generated a lot of buzz online after the images resurfaced on social media.

The Super Eagles striker had his breakthrough season during the last campaign. He netted 26 Serie A goals to guide Napoli to their first Scudetto title in over three decades.

His impressive goal-scoring form earned him the Paolo Rossi Award as he made history by becoming the first African player to win the prize.

The ex-Lille forward is being courted by some of the elite clubs in Europe with Manchester United leading the race for his signature.

His last competitive action was in the colours of the Super Eagles as he scored twice in Nigeria's 3-2 win over Sierra Leone in the AFCON qualifiers.
