A section of Nigerians on social media has commended the Super Eagles for a successful qualification for the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cote d'Ivoire next year.
The Super Eagles thrashed AFCON qualifier group rivals, São Tomé and Príncipe by 6-0 at the Goodswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Sunday, September 10.
Hattrick hero Victor Osimhen was also joined by Ademola Lookman, Taiwo Awoniyi, and Samuel Chukwueze on the scoresheet.
The victory over the weekend means Nigeria ran out as group winners.
In the initial fixture, the Super Eagles trashed São Tomé and Príncipe, winning the game by a scoreline of 10-0.
Peseiro, who recently signed a contract that will see him take charge of the Super Eagles team at the AFCON competition in Ivory Coast at the start of next year, was delighted with the football his team put on display and commended the team's commitment.

Please step up at the big stage o
Soar Super Eagles. The midfield still needs a lot of work. Calling up just 4 midfielders is not good enough.

If they can't find Europe based midfielder, they can scout from the NPFL or NNL.
This is what you guys practically did for Sao Tome and Principe.

I tried to watch but did not bother much because if you had played a draw with this kind of team who could be tagged as one legged(sorry for the word), you all should have be thrown off. However well done but am sure it could be more than 6 if you put in more effort?

Uyo stadium is our home stadium not Abuja... I hope that point is clear now judging by the fan support and aura
