2016 Premier League champions Leicester City are reportedly eyeing a move for Ajax forward Chuba Akpom.

According to the De Telegraaf, Ajax have made the 29-year-old available on loan this month.

Akpom had rejected a move to Sky Bet Championship side Sunderland earlier this month after the club made attempts to sign him.

Another club that has recently joined the race for the former Arsenal man is French Ligue 1 side Olympique de Marseille.

Marseille are expected to rival Leicester City for the signature of the striker.

The former Middlesbrough forward has three-and-a-half years left on his contract with Ajax.
