Several Nigerian players have been linked with a move to the English Premier League next summer following their impressive performance with their current clubs.

Victor Osimhen - Manchester United

Currently on loan at Galatasaray in the Turkish Super Lig, Victor Osimhen has been heavily linked with a move to the English Premier League this summer.

Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal have all long been admirers of the prolific forward, but recent reports suggest that the Red Devils are now leading the race for his signature.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Osimhen has already agreed to personal terms with Manchester United, bringing the Premier League giants one step closer to securing his services.

The Super Eagles star has been in exceptional form during his loan spell at Galatasaray

The former Capocannoniere winner has registered 30 goals and seven assists in 345 competitive appearances for the Turkish giants this season.

Moses Simon - Everton

Premier League outfit Everton have expressed keen interest in Nigerian international Victor Moses next summer.

According to a report by Africa Foot, Everton are preparing a bid for the Nantes winger at the end of the season.

The report added that the Toffees have sent scouts to watch the 29-year-old in the Ligue 1 in recent weeks.

Simon has been in an impressive form for the Yellow Canaries this season, racking up seven goals and nine assists in 27 competitive appearances.

The Super Eagles winger has a market value around the region of €15m.

Simon's contract with Nantes expires at the end of June 2027.

Maduka Okoye - Bournemouth

Bournemouth are reportedly considering a move for Nigerian goalkeeper Maduka Okoye.

According to reports, a transfer for the Udinese shot-stopper could be on the cards next summer.

Bournemouth are said to be uncertain about the future of Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Kepa joined the Cherries on a season-long loan from Chelsea last summer but is reportedly keen on returning to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

Sportitalia reports that Andoni Iraola’s side is eyeing Okoye as a replacement for the former Real Madrid goalkeeper.

Okoye has cemented his position as the first-choice shot-stopper for Udinese, having joined the Serie A club in 2023.

Ademola Lookman - Liverpool

Lookman could be set for a sensational return to the Premier League, with Atalanta reportedly preparing to sell the Nigeria international to Liverpool this summer.

The 26-year-old winger is no stranger to English football, having played for Everton, Fulham and Leicester City in the Premier League before reviving his career in Serie A.

Lookman's resurgence in Bergamo has not gone unnoticed, and Atalanta are said to be positioning for a profitable transfer window.

Tolu Arokodare

Newcastle United are reportedly considering a summer move for Super Eagles new boy Tolu Arokodare.

Arokodare has been in remarkable form for KRC Genk in the Belgian Jupiler League this season.

The 24-year-old has racked up 21 goals and provided seven assists in 39 competitive games for Genk so far.

According to Africa Foot, the Magpies have contacted Genk to express their interest in the Nigerian international.

The Belgian Jupiler League side will reportedly demand a fee in the region of €17 million for the one-cap Super Eagles star.
