Top Nigerian stars missed out on EA Sports annual ratings for its popular game franchise, FIFA. This follows the release of this year's list ahead of the 2020/2021 version (FIFA 21) scheduled to be outdoored in October.
The video game developing company are the manufacturers of the popular football video game FIFA with the first version of the series released in 1993.
The likes of Victor Osimhen and Wilfred Ndidi are two of Nigeria’s biggest names, but their ratings are not good enough to crack the top 100.
Barcelona star, Lionel Messi, leads the way with a rating of 93, followed by his arch-rival, Cristiano Ronaldo, who was rated 93. Robert Lewandowski (91), Kevin De Bruyne (91) and Neymar Jnr (91) round up the top five.
Meanwhile, Liverpool’s duo of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane are Africa’s highest-rated players with both stars featuring in the top 10.
Salah comes in at number nine with a rating of 90, while Mane is the tenth highest rated player, also with a rating of 90.
