Rangers coach Clement reveals Balogun's return date

Rangers head coach Philippe Clement has disclosed that Leon Balogun will return to full training next week after sustaining an injury.

The 36-year-old was substituted at half-time during Rangers' Europa League clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford last month.

The Super Eagles defender has been on the sidelines since then, missing the Gers' last four games.

Clement is expecting to have Balogun alongside other injured players back by next week.

“I expect a week after Dujon Sterling and Leon Balogun to be back. Ridvan is already back in training. Leon King is also back in training after his concussion, and the others, it’s a little bit longer.

“I don’t want to put a time frame on it because I don’t want to force my medical staff into a corner,” he told Rangers Review.

Balogun has made 19 appearances across all competitions for the Gers this season.
