Nigerian international Chidera Ejuke has been named Sevilla's Player of the Month of September.

The 26-year-old had an impressive campaign for the Rojiblancos last month.

Ejuke netted the winner in Sevilla's 2-1 home victory over Real Valladolid on matchday 7.

The winger joined the La Liga outfit on a free transfer from Russian club CSKA Moscow in the summer.

Ejuke's recent form for Sevilla has earned him a call-up to the Super Eagles for the upcoming African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Libya.

It was the first call-up for the former Royal Antwerp star in over two years.

Nigeria will take on Libya at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Friday, October 11 before travelling away for the return encounter on Tuesday, October 15.
