Nigerian international Victor Osimhen couldn't hide his disappointment after his Galatasaray side were held to a 3-3 draw against Dynamo Kyiv in the Europa League on Tuesday, January 21.

Galatasaray failed to capitalize on their two-goal lead, courtesy of Davinson Sanchez and Abdulkerim Bardakci.

Vladyslav Andriyovych Vanat reduced the deficit on the stroke of halftime before Osimhen restored Galatasaray's lead from the spot in the 53rd minute.

Galatasaray failed to protect their lead as the away side fought back to secure a draw in a thrilling encounter at Rams Park, courtesy of a brace from Andriy Yarmolenko.

It wasn't the first time Galatasaray had squandered a two-goal lead this season, and Victor Osimhen was left disappointed after the game.

“We are disappointed. We thought we deserved more. We need to take responsibility as a team. I think we all made mistakes. They also fought well and scored goals,” he told the club’s official website.

“There were two consecutive draws. Now we need to work and learn from our mistakes. We need to focus on the upcoming matches.”

“We need to understand each other better at certain moments. If I’m going strong, I look at who I can pass to and who I can receive the pass from. We could have scored more goals today. We need to learn from our mistakes and be better.”
