Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen believes he is very close to opening his goal account for Galatasaray.
The 25-year-old bagged another assist for the Turkish Super Lig champions in their Europa League clash against PAOK Salonica on Wednesday, September 25.
It was the reigning African Footballer of the Year’s third assist in his third game for the club as he helped Galatasaray to an impressive 3-1 victory at RAMS Park in Istanbul.
Speaking in a post-match interview, Osimhen expressed confidence that his first goal is just around the corner.
“Unfortunately, it was an own goal again. I feel it, my goal is very close. The most important thing is for Galatasaray to win,” he told the club’s official website.
“I would also like to thank the fans. We need to continue winning in the league and in Europe.”
