Indian football legend, Sunil Chhetri has reacted to Cristiano Ronaldo’s extra-time penalty miss against Slovenia in the Euro 2024 Round of 16.

Portugal finally won 3-0 on penalty shootout to go through.

During the game, Ronaldo squandered a couple of chances, including when he stepped up for a penalty just before half-time in extra time, which he missed.

The Al Nassr forward was reduced to tears and had to be consoled by his teammates.

Chhetri said in a YouTube interview with Raj Shamani, “He misses a goal and cries like a baby.

“It was so painful to watch him miss that penalty. I’m not a Portugal fan, I’m a Ronaldo fan.

“I was watching it with my mates, and they were like, ‘why is he crying?’ And I was sitting there like, ‘you will not get it’”.
