Nigeria head coach Eric Chelle will assemble a strong team for the Super Eagles' international friendly against Russia, according to reports.

The game is scheduled to take place in Moscow on Friday, June 6.

It will be the first-ever meeting between the two countries at the senior level.

“The core of the team from the matches against Rwanda and Zimbabwe will get another chance to play against Russia in the friendly,” Eric Chelle told SCORENigeria.

Nigeria are also scheduled to take part in a four-nation tournament, dubbed the Unity Cup, in the same month of June.

The Super Eagles will compete with archrivals Ghana, Jamaica, and Trinidad and Tobago in England.
