Newly appointed head coach of the Super Eagles, Eric Chelle, will be assisted by three coaches in his role.
Hadi Taboubi, a French-Tunisian, will serve as the first assistant to the 47-year-old, who was appointed last week.
He was Chelle's first assistant during his tenure as head coach of the Malian national team.
Thomas Gornourec will serve as the team's fitness trainer. Gornourec holds a UEFA License and a Master’s Degree.
Jean Daniel Padovani will work as the goalkeeper's trainer. He is a former goalkeeper's trainer for Comoros during the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon.
Eric Chelle was officially unveiled as the head coach of the Super Eagles by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Monday, January 13, at the Media Conference Room of the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
The Malian gaffer has been tasked with the arduous job of reviving the Super Eagles' 2026 World Cup campaign.
The Super Eagles are yet to win a game in the qualifiers after four matches and sit in 5th position in Group C.
Chelle will first take over the team when the World Cup qualifiers resume in March.
