Goalkeeper Coach of the Super Eagles, Alloy Agu, has debunked rumors that the upcoming friendly against Algeria is a revenge mission for the Eagles who were beaten by their rivals en route winning the AFCON in 2019.
Spesking in an exclusive interview with Brila.net, Agu said that the team will take the game as one where the players can showcase their skills and talents.
He also said it was an opportunity for the team to perfect the goals, strategy and get the best out of it.
Despite a good head-to-head record against the Alegerians, the Super Eagles face an uphill task against their opponent who can currently boast of an unbeaten run against Eagles.
"This friendly game is very important that we showcase our skills and talents and what we can do, it’s not as an act of revenge or something but an opportunity for us to really perfect our strategy and then get the best out of it,” Alloy Agu told www.brila.net.
