New Leicester City head coach Ruud Van Nistelrooy has lauded Nigerian international Wilfred Ndidi for his impressive performance against West Ham in the Premier League.
The Super Eagles midfielder produced a solid performance for the Foxes in their 3-1 victory over the Hammers at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday, September 3.
The game was Van Nistelrooy's first at the helm since moving to the King Power Stadium after his interim role at Manchester United.
Ndidi delivered one of his best performances for Leicester City this season and earned the praise of the new gaffer.
“Soumaré and Ndidi had an unbelievable game, covering a lot of distance, winning a lot of balls in duels and second balls, and also on the ball,” the Dutchman told the club’s official website.
