EPL: Leicester will take positives from Arsenal defeat — Ndidi

Wilfred Ndidi Wilfred Ndidi

Nigerian international Wilfred Ndidi believes his Leicester City side put up a decent performance against Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday, February 15.

The Foxes lost 2-0 to the Gunners at the King Power Stadium courtesy of a brace from substitute Mikel Merino, who was deployed as a makeshift number nine for Mikel Arteta's side.

Both goals came in the last seven minutes of the game as Brendan Rodgers’s side were condemned to another home defeat in the Premier League.

Ndidi believes his side will take away the positives from the defeat against the Gunners.

“It’s just something that we need to take into the next one. Everyone is in it, and we know the position that we are in at the moment,” the Nigerian international told the club’s official website.

“We did well, to be honest, playing against a tough team. I think it’s just that we have to take the positives forward to the next game.”
