Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has provided an injury update on Cole Palmer after the Blues' clash with Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday, November 3.

Palmer was on the receiving end of a poor tackle by Lisandro Martinez late in the game, which saw the England international limp off at Old Trafford.

Speaking in a post-match press conference, Maresca stated that the Argentine international should have been sent off for his rough tackle on Palmer.

"He was in the changing room with ice. We are waiting now. Hopefully, it is nothing," he said, as quoted by Football London.

The Blues were held to a 1-1 draw as Maresca's side failed to break the 13-year jinx of failing to win away at Old Trafford in the Premier League.

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes gave the Reds the lead from the spot in the 70th minute before Moise Caicedo equalized with a superb volley four minutes later.
