Turkish journalist Yakup Cınar has urged Victor Osimhen to persuade his Super Eagles teammate Ola Aina to consider a move to Galatasaray.

Aina has emerged as a top transfer target for several clubs in Europe following his excellent campaign with Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.

The 28-year-old has been one of the most consistent defenders in the Premier League this season, featuring in all 21 Premier League matches for Nuno Espirito Santo's side.

Galatasaray have expressed keen interest in the Nigerian international, who has also been linked with a move to Premier League champions Manchester City as a replacement for Kyle Walker.

Speaking on the chances of Galatasaray landing the signature of the Chelsea academy product, Yakup Cınar proposed an alternative of Victor Osimhen using his influence to lure his countryman to the Super Lig giants.

"Ola Aina is keen on coming to Galatasaray. Nottingham has transfer expectations. Galatasaray is trying to lower these expectations. I think Osimhen could step in..."

Aina's contract with Forest expires at the end of the season. It remains to be seen if he will consider a move to any of his suitors or sign an extension with the Tricky Trees.
