Chelsea are reportedly in talks to sign Bayern Munich forward, Sadio Mane in the summer.
The two-time African Football winner Sadio Mane who is rumored to be isolated in the team had held first talks with Chelsea in Germany.
This is according to Portuguese journalist Pedro Almeida.
"First talks between Chelsea and Bayern for Sadio #Mane happened in last weekend in Munich.
"The English club is currently the favorite to sign the Senegalese player," he tweeted.
BILD Sports reports that Bayern Munich are willing to part ways with the Senegalese.
Mane joined the German champions in 2022 in a three-year deal. He, however, not lived up to expectations due to injuries.
In addition to his struggle to acclimatize with his new team, he had burst up with teammate Leroy Sane in April 2023 which landed him in the bad books in the dressing room.
Reports claim the Senegalese has been isolated since the incident, making his stay at the club more difficult.
