Chelsea defender Adarabioyo drops social media hint on potential switch to Super Eagles, Nigerians react

Tosin Adarabioyo's recent social media activity has raised eyebrows among many Nigerian fans amid speculations surrounding his international future.

The 27-year-old has been making waves in Nigerian football circles as rumors about his switch to the Super Eagles continue to gather momentum.

Interim Super Eagles coach Augustine Eguavoen, in a recent interview, confirmed that the former England youth international is among the players currently under consideration.

“I haven’t spoken with Tosin, but he’s a good player," the 59-year-old told Premium Times.

“Every Nigerian playing worldwide has the right to play for Nigeria, including Tosin,” he added.

In the wake of speculations, Adarabioyo recently posted pictures on X from Chelsea's training session ahead of their Carabao Cup game against Newcastle United.

The former Manchester City defender captioned the post "Odogwu," an Igbo word meaning strong man.

The post has fueled speculations, with fans questioning if he has finally decided to commit his international future to the three-time African champions.
