Boniface becomes Osimhen's number one 'hype man' after new Galatasaray record

Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface took to social media to hail his Super Eagles teammate Victor Osimhen after his goal against Sivasspor in the Turkish Super Lig.

Osimhen scored his 10th goal for Galatasaray since joining the club on a season-long loan from Napoli in early September.

The 25-year-old scored from the spot on the stroke of halftime as Galatasaray secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory away from home.

The Super Eagles striker became the first player to either score or assist for Galatasaray in his first eight league games since the 2014/2015 season.

Osimhen's remarkable form in Turkey has caught the eye of many, including Victor Boniface.

In a post on his Instagram handle, the 23-year-old wrote "highest" as he congratulated his countryman on his remarkable form for Galatasaray.
