With their World Cup campaign hanging in a balance, the Super Eagles of Nigeria must put on a stellar performance to salvage their dreams of qualifying for the 2026 Mundial in USA, Canada, and Mexico.

Following their disappointing campaign in the qualifiers so far, Nigerian football fans are hoping for a positive result to get their campaign back on track.

Reports suggest that coach Finidi George is planning crucial changes to his starting lineup after the team had to come from a goal down to draw against Bafana Bafana at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

According to OwngoalNigeria, Kelechi Iheanacho, who started against South Africa on Friday, will be replaced by Samuel Chukwueze.

Additionally, the former Enyimba boss is considering starting Club Brugge midfielder Raphael Onyedika after his impressive performance when he came on as a substitute against Hugo Broos' side.

Benjamin Tanimu is also expected to lose his place in the starting eleven to Chidozie Awaziem in the defensive back line.

Despite the report not including Boniface in the starting lineup, fans are clamoring for Victor Boniface to start in place of Paul Onuachu.

Fans were disappointed after the Bayer Leverkusen star was benched for the entire 90 minutes against South Africa in the last game.

Check out the probable lineup below as the game kicks off at 5:00 pm Nigerian time:
