Some sections of Chelsea fans are displeased towards captain Reece James after 'flirting' with Real Madrid despite his club embarrassingly losing 2-0 at home to Brentford.
The Blues fell to a third straight home loss to Brentford after goals from Ethan Pinnock and Bryan Mbuemo punished a wasteful Chelsea in another setback to the team.
Mauricio Pochettino's men went into the game on the back of a four-game unbeaten run, including a near-victory over Arsenal, a game they received praise for how they contained the title contenders.
James came on for the final 20+ minutes in the loss as he is yet to be fully match-fit, evident in his poor performance when he came on for Axel Disasi.
However, he was not the centre of attention for the loss, but he tweaked things after he was caught in Jude Bellingham's comment section on Instagram.
Bellingham scored twice to help Real Madrid beat Barcelona in the El Clasico at Camp Nou. He shared a post on IG, and as spotted by Chelsea Dodgers, the captain in a now deleted post commented "another day at the office" at his compatriot.
Some fans were not pleased as they would have expected soberness from their skipper after a loss.
Another Chelsea star who got into trouble with the fans for his post-match antics was goalkeeper Robert Sanchez after exchanging jerseys with former Brighton teammate Neal Maupay.
Maupay shared the photo on Instagram, per EuroFoot. Sanchez was responsible for the second goal after he went for a corner but missed, allowing the opponent to counter and score into an empty net.
Sports Brief reported on Pochettino's intervention for Nicolas Jackson after the striker was confronted at half-time questioning why he missed a chance earlier in the game.
The Senegalese forward made a 'shush' gesture to the fan before the manager came in defence of his player and asked that the fan supports the player.
