Nigerian football legend Nwankwo Kanu has shared an adorable video to celebrate his 20th wedding anniversary with his wife, Amara Kanu.

The former Arsenal forward took to Instagram on Wednesday, July 3, to share a heartwarming video of him and his wife sharing a lovely moment together.

In the post, the 47-year-old wrote: "Happy Anniversary to my love @amarakanu, and our God-given children, Amarachi and our everything, our Queen. God is our strength; I thank God for our journey together. #thankgod Happy wedding anniversary to Mr. and Mrs. Kanu. Cheers to many more years together!",/i>

His wife, Amara, responded to the post with a congratulatory message: "Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Kanu!," she wrote.

Nwankwo Kanu, fondly called Papilo, is arguably one of Nigeria's best football talents who has etched his name in the history books.

He played a crucial role in the Super Eagles 1994 African Cup of Nations triumph and also helped Nigeria to win Olympic gold medal at the 1996 summer games in Atlanta, USA.

Kanu featured for elite European clubs like Ajax, Inter Milan, and Arsenal.

He was part of the Gunners' Invincibles team that won the club's last Premier League title two decades ago.

He scored 12 goals in 82 caps for the Super Eagles from 1994 to 2011.
