Tuesday, September 10, saw the conclusion of all the matchday two fixtures of the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria, who were aiming for their second consecutive win after dispatching Benin Republic 3-0 in their group opener, were held to a goalless draw against Rwanda at the National Amahoro Stadium in Kigali.
Seven teams managed to secure the maximum six points: DR Congo, Ivory Coast, Egypt, Angola, Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia.
The likes of Nigeria, Tanzania, Mozambique, Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, and Burkina Faso all managed four points.
