Former Super Eagles striker Brown Ideye has marked his return to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) joining Enyimba FC.

Ideye was part of the Super Eagles team that won the 2013 African Cup of Nations in South Africa.

The 36-year-old has joined the Peoples Elephant until the end of the current campaign.

The move marks a sensational return to the local league for the veteran forward who left the NPFL 17 years ago.

Ideye played for European clubs like Sochaux, Dynamo Kyiv, West Bromwich Albion and Olympiacos.

His last club was Kuwaiti side Al-Yarmouk where he plied his trade in 2022.
