Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen reached a remarkable new career milestone after finding the back of the net in Galatasaray's 5-1 thrashing of Konyaspor in the semifinals of the Turkish Cup.
The 26-year-old was also on hand with an assist as the Süper Lig champions cruised to the finals of the Türkiye Kupası.
Osimhen scored the opening goal in the 26th minute after getting on the end of a perfectly timed cross from Dries Mertens.
It was the 30th goal of the season for the Super Eagles striker in 35 competitive appearances since joining Galatasaray on a season-long loan from Napoli last September.
In the bigger picture, Osimhen has now netted 170 career goals at the senior level across five different teams, including the national team.
Let’s break down Osimhen’s numbers from his time in Belgium, France, Italy, and now Turkey, alongside his national team contributions:
Charleroi (Belgian Jupiler League) – 20 goals
Lille (French Ligue 1) – 18 goals
Napoli (Italian Serie A) – 76 goals
Galatasaray (Turkish Süper Lig) – 30 goals
Nigeria (National Team) – 26 goals
