Reigning African Footballer of the Year, Ademola Lookman, has reportedly made a crucial decision regarding his future at Atalanta.

Italian publication Tuttomercatoweb.com reported on Sunday, April 13, that the 27-year-old winger has decided to leave Gewiss Stadium at the end of the season.

“Ademola Lookman has already made the most important decision about his future. He will no longer be at Atalanta,” the report stated.

Lookman, who came close to leaving Atalanta last season, saw a move away from the Bergamo-based club fall through.

Despite ongoing interest from top European clubs, including those in the Premier League and La Liga, his next destination remains uncertain.

Since joining Atalanta in the summer of 2022, Lookman has been in explosive form.

Last season, he helped the club secure their first-ever Europa League title, scoring a historic hat-trick in the final against Bayer Leverkusen.

The Super Eagles star has continued his brilliant performances this season, registering 18 goals and providing seven assists in 35 competitive appearances for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side.

After making the move to Atalanta for €9.4 million (£7.9 million) from RB Leipzig, Lookman’s market value has surged to €65 million (£54.2 million).
