Buhari declared second war on Igbo people - Aloy Ejimakor

Legal practitioner, Aloy Ejimakor, has said former President Muhammadu Buhari declared a second war on the Igbo people of Southeast Nigeria during his time in power.

He said the former president did this when he promised to teach Igbo people the language that they understand.

MyNigeria recalls that Buhari made the statement during the height of the Biafra agitation led by the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.

According to Ejimakor, the arrest and detention of Kanu is the crowning glory of Buhari's threat to the Igbo people.

He shared on X, "When Buhari threatened to teach Ndigbo the ‘language’ they understand, it was a declaration of a second war on Ndigbo. The crowning glory was the ‘capture’ of MAZI NNAMDI KANU, seen by Buhari as the ‘numero uno’ of Igbo leadership. Thus, #MNK is a prisoner of war, not a felon."

Ejimakor now represents Kanu in court against the allegation of terrorism and treasonable felony brought forward by the Federal Government.
