Mark Oladipo Babatunde has proven that Nigerians can be found anywhere in the world, as long as living things exist there.

Mark lives in Yakutsk, the coldest city in the World, where the temperature drops to (-71°C, -96°F).

He was recently interviewed by vlogger Tayo Aina, who explored his lifestyle and how he came about living in the Asian country.

Mark said, "When there's tap water rushing everywhere, people still like to drink ice water," despite the cold and freezing weather.

He said he starts his morning routine by going for short walks. He also stated that he doesn't like to drive during the winter because it is very stressful doing so.

This was as he showed off his car, carefully parked in his garage. Opening the bonnet, Mark revealed a blanket he uses to cover his engine.

According to him, if he had not used a blanket to cover the engine, the radiator would have been damaged due to the cold wind in Yakutsk

"Yes, if it's open, the cold will kill the radiator," he said.

On how he found himself in Yakutsk, Mark said he travelled from Nigeria to study in China, where he met his wife who is a native of Yakutsk.

"If you had asked me 20 years ago, I would have wondered what I was going to do in Yakutsk. But when I got to China to study, that was like over 20 years ago, my wife was also studying there. That's a secret. That's where I met my wife. She's from Yakutsk here," he said, laughing off the idea that he was lured to Yakutsk by a woman.

Mark also showed off his house in Yakutsk which he built himself from scratch.

Despite finding a home far away from home, Mark revealed that he has not lost his Nigerianness.

"I try to keep up with everything Nigerian, I watch the news everyday, I listen to Nigerian music. Sometimes I try to speak to my children, my wife in my native language," he said.

Mark stated that though he enjoys living in Yakutsk, he would love to be buried in Nigeria when he dies.

He said the only condition that could see him buried in Yakutsk is if the cost of transporting his corpse is too expensive.
