Activist Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has warned Northerners not to think they have the monopoly on violence.

This was after several Northerners took to social media to make threats against Christians living in their region following the killing of 16 Northerners in the Uromi, Edo State, Southern Nigeria.

The 16 northerner were believed to be kidnappers by vigilantes hired by Uormi residents who had grown tired of the killings, rape, and destruction of farmlands by Fulani herdsmen from the North.

In a post on X, VeryDarkMan urged the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Egbetokun, to fish out a Northerner who made threats to Christians in his region.

He said, "I am giving the inspector general of police 48hrs to provide this guy who have made a serious thr3@t to the lives of Christians in the north, this will not be overlooked and for the northerners with this same mentality DO NOT IMAGINE FOR A DAY THAT YOU ARE THE ONLY ONES THAT CAN KPAI PEOPLE, WHEN TIME COME ALL MEN GO DROP BIBLE TO PROTECT THEMSELVES, WE HAVE CONDEMNED WHAT HAPPENED IN EDO STATE AND THE POLICE ARE WORKING, WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT, SHOULD THE GOVERNMENT BURN EDO STATE TO THE GROUND….there is no justification for jungle justice and we say no to it however make una Dey calm down, we no want problem no mean say we we fulllzzz."
