The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has charged the Super Eagles to secure all six points in the upcoming crucial FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
The three-time African champions are yet to record a victory in four qualifying matches, having recorded three draws and one defeat.
Eric Chelle's side will aim to get their World Cup campaign back on track when they face Rwanda on Friday, March 21, before taking on Zimbabwe four days later.
Ahead of these crucial encounters, the NFF has urged Nigerians to rally behind the team in their effort to salvage their World Cup campaign.
“The executive committee charged the players to go all out for the six points in both matches to boost Nigeria’s qualification hopes,” reads a communique issued at the end of the NFF executive meeting.
“It also called on all Nigerians to support and encourage the team in whatever fair and proper ways they are competent to, in order to guarantee victory in both matches.”
Nigeria currently sits fourth in Group C with three points after four games.
