A former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has said any state that wants to witness genocide should vote for the Social Democratic Party (SDP), which an ex-governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, just dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) for.
This was as he described El-Rufai as the butcher of Kaduna, in reference to the killings witnessed in Southern Kaduna under El-Rufai's eight years in office as governor.
Revealing how inconsequential El-Rufai's exit from the APC is, Reno recalled what the party suffered in the last election in Kaduna.
He said on Facebook, "When Malam Nasir el-Rufai was a member of the All Progressives Congress and an incumbent Governor of Kaduna State, the APC lost the 2023 Presidential elections in Kaduna to the Peoples Democratic Party. The PDP also won all three Senatorial elections in Kaduna. In addition, the PDP won 10 seats out of a total of 16 seats for the House of Representatives in the state, while the Labour Party won 2, leaving only 4 seats for the APC.
"Finally, the APC only narrowly won the Gubernatorial election, with 730,002 votes to the PDP's 719,196. The margin of victory was a mere 10,806.
"If Malam Nasir el-Rufai performed so woefully at the polls as an incumbent governor, why should anyone lose sleep over him leaving the All Progressives Congress for the Social Democratic Party, which died in 1993 and has been in the mortuary pending burial in 2027?
"I wish the Butcher of Kaduna, Nasir el-Rufai, luck in his fourth political party since 1999. At least the Southern Kaduna Genocide has ended. Any state that wants what Southern Kaduna and Shiites suffered under el-Rufai can vote for the SDP in 2027."
